Positioned at the heart of the business, your key responsibilities will be working closely alongside the commercial team ensuring job spec and budgets are met, establishing strong supplier relationships, and creating innovative ways to support the growth of the business. Key Responsibilities;
· Be extremely analytical and data driven in decision making.
· Keeping on top of the current market and observing price rises across different suppliers.
· Develop a clear sourcing strategy to ensure the supply of quality products that meet the high standards of our projects whilst hitting job spec budget.
· Manage supplier relations and negotiation to develop high performing sustainable partnerships.
· Communicate closely with various departments to ensure the business remains as streamline as possible.
Candidate Requirements;
· Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
· Strong knowledge of Brickwork and Masonry products is key.
· Strong and successful negotiating skills.
· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
· Attention-to-detail with strong strategic planning and organisational skills.
· Strong desire and willingness to learn.
· Strong team skills.
· Accomplished time management and a strong ability to organise and prioritise tasks.
We are a family run construction business based in Westerham, Kent with residential and commercial projects across London and the South East going from strength to strength with a solid 10-year strategy.
Location; Westerham, Kent – own transport owing to location
Hours; Monday – Friday in the office
