DWG actively train staff, from our directors through to our site operatives and office staff.

 

Operatives are required by DWG to attend a weekly toolbox talk. The subjects discussed are relevant to the type of work carried out on site, hot topics relevant to our clients and issues arising in Health & Safety Bulletins.

 

We identify individuals that would benefit from additional training and support them in their continuing professional and personal development.

DWG is a member of the Construction Industry Training Board and exceeds in the high standards it sets for the scaffolding industry. Our site supervisors and managers who are responsible for inspecting and checking scaffolds for safe use and completing reports in accordance with the Working at Height Regulations 2005 are qualified by SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and SITS (Scaffold Inspection Training Scheme) as well as being Temporary Works trained. All our scaffolders are registered with CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) and are regularly assessed both in-house and independently to ensure the highest standards are maintained at all times.
